Be among the first to test a controlled, reversible desktop and downloads organizing workspace on Windows.
Designed for Controlled File Organization
Downloads folders and desktop surfaces accumulate temporary installers, PDFs, screenshots, and active working files. Automated cleaning tools often delete files aggressively or hide them in obscure locations.
TidyDock is designed around transparent user approval. It identifies cluttered files, presents simple grouping suggestions, and moves active files into a nearby "File Shelf" so your desktop stays clean without losing quick access to important documents.
Intended Product Flow
Downloads Cleaner
Scans temporary download directories and highlights stale installers, duplicate archives, and old documents for review.
Desktop Cleaner
Groups scattered desktop items by file type, age, or project tag while preserving user-pinned icons.
File Shelf
A lightweight slide-over shelf keeping recent and frequently accessed files one click away without desktop clutter.
Reversible Rules & Explicit Control
One-Click Undo
Every organization action maintains an audit log so files can be restored to their original location with a single click.
Explicit Confirmation
TidyDock never deletes or archives files automatically without explicit user review and confirmation.

Transparency & Operating Principles
Truthful Scope Disclosure: TidyDock is a desktop file organization aid currently in development. It is designed to suggest cleanup actions, but it does not automatically determine file importance or replace system backup software.
Cloud backup capabilities (such as Google Drive synchronization) are planned future additions and are not active in current early builds.
